An active Hotels Etc. membership provides access to more than 3 million discount opportunities across 141 countries. Hotels Etc. also offers optional paid benefit upgrades at discounted member rates for members who want additional services.
Is Hotels Etc. only a hotel discount membership?
No. Hotels are only one part of the Hotels Etc. membership. Members have access to travel and lifestyle savings across multiple categories, including hotels and resorts, cruises, car rentals, vacation accommodations, entertainment, attractions, shopping, restaurants and many other products and services.
Hotels Etc. also allows eligible businesses from around the world to participate in the Hotels Etc. discount network at no charge, provided they offer Hotels Etc. members a legitimate discount or benefit that is not available to the general public.
Hotels Etc. does not permit illegal businesses or businesses offering illegal products or services to participate in the discount network.
Are Hotels Etc. discounts available to the general public?
No. Hotels Etc. discounts are not available to the general public. Hotels Etc. operates as a private membership program. You must be a Hotels Etc. member and have a registered member account to access the private discounts and benefits available through the Hotels Etc. member platform.
This private membership structure allows Hotels Etc. and participating providers to offer members discounts and benefits that are not publicly available.
Can a business offer a discount to Hotels Etc. members?

Does Hotels Etc. offer digital and physical membership cards?
Yes. Hotels Etc. offers both digital and physical membership cards. When joining Hotels Etc., review the specific membership offer you are purchasing to determine whether you will receive a digital membership card or a physical membership card.
Do I need a physical Hotels Etc. card to access my discounts?
No. You do not need a physical membership card to access your Hotels Etc. discounts. Once your membership is registered and your member account is active, you can log in to the member platform and access your available discounts and benefits.
What happens if my membership includes a physical card?
If the membership you purchase includes a physical card, Hotels Etc. will ship the physical membership card to you and provide tracking information for the shipment.
What if I purchase from an authorized Hotels Etc. dealer or reseller?
If you purchase a membership through an authorized Hotels Etc. dealer or reseller, check with that reseller to determine whether the membership being offered includes a digital or physical membership card. A physical card is not required to access Hotels Etc. discounts once the membership is properly registered.

Your Hotels Etc. membership can be used by you, your spouse, and anyone who lives at the same residential address as you. Members of your immediate household may use the available travel and lifestyle discounts, subject to the terms and requirements of individual providers and benefits.
Can my spouse or other people living in my household use my membership?
Yes. Your spouse and anyone living at the same residential address may use the Hotels Etc. membership benefits, subject to applicable provider terms.
Can I transfer my Hotels Etc. membership to someone else?
No. Hotels Etc. memberships are non-transferable. A membership cannot be permanently transferred or sold to another person. However, your spouse and people living at your residential address may use the benefits as members of your immediate household.

What if I forgot my username or password?
Use the Forgot Username or Forgot Password option available through the member login system and follow the instructions provided. If you still cannot access your account, contact Hotels Etc. Member Support.
Can I manage my membership online?
Yes. Members can access their account through the Hotels Etc. member login. Members with applicable subscription accounts can select Manage Subscription to manage their membership subscription, including renewal or cancellation.

No. Optional upgrades are separate paid services offered to Hotels Etc. members at discounted rates. You do not need to purchase these upgrades to access the 3 million+ discount opportunities included with your Hotels Etc. membership.
Optional upgrades, providers, pricing, eligibility and program terms may change. Members should review the current member area for available options.
Annual & Lifetime Memberships
What type of membership does Hotels Etc. currently offer directly to consumers?
Hotels Etc. currently offers an annual membership directly to end consumers. The annual membership term begins when the end user registers the membership.
Does Hotels Etc. still sell lifetime memberships?
Hotels Etc. no longer sells lifetime memberships directly to end consumers. However, some independent Hotels Etc. distributors may still have previously issued lifetime membership inventory available. Availability depends on the individual distributor.
Are existing lifetime Hotels Etc. memberships still honored?
Yes. Previously issued and properly activated Hotels Etc. lifetime memberships continue to be honored for life under their original membership terms. If you already have a valid lifetime Hotels Etc. membership, it remains a lifetime membership.
Annual Renewals & Subscription Management
Do online Hotels Etc. memberships automatically renew?
Yes. Annual memberships purchased online are set for automatic renewal. Unless the member cancels the subscription before the scheduled renewal date, the membership will automatically renew for another annual term.
How do I manage or renew my Hotels Etc. subscription?
Log in to your existing Hotels Etc. account and select Manage Subscription. From there, applicable members can manage or renew their membership.
What happens if my annual membership expires?
Log in to your existing Hotels Etc. account. The system will recognize the expired membership and direct you through the appropriate upgrade or renewal process. You do not need to create a new account simply because your membership has expired.
How do I cancel automatic renewal?
Log in to your Hotels Etc. member account and select Manage Subscription. From there, you can manage or cancel your applicable subscription. To prevent the next automatic renewal, cancellation must be completed before the scheduled renewal date.
Do I lose my membership benefits immediately if I cancel automatic renewal?
No. Canceling automatic renewal does not immediately terminate your membership. You will continue to have access to your Hotels Etc. membership and benefits for the remainder of the membership term you have already paid for. Cancellation prevents the membership from automatically renewing for the next annual term.

What if I need help with a specific hotel or travel reservation?
